It's a funny business raising puppies.  I invest so much of my time and love and money into raising and socializing a healthy litter that when the time comes to part with them, I'm oftentimes bereft!  What keeps me going are my own faithful, loving adult dogs and knowing that these puppies have been placed in wonderful, caring homes.  My puppies always seem to find the best homes in the world!  They are loved and cuddled and cared for every day.  They never have to wonder where their next meal is coming from and all their owners keep them fit and healthy with regular vet checkups.  And, by the time these little ones go to their new homes I have new friends!  Now, what could be better than that!





"Words cannot describe how happy Jan is with the little guy and so am I. He ate when we got home and did his business outside and slept pretty good the first night. We only had to take him out at midnight and 3:30 then he was good until 6:30. He ate this morning and has been romping around. He is so beautiful and alert. I think he is holding out for a second opinion. Every one we show her off to just loves the color. Serrana and Piquine are inseperable, when they are in the yard Serrana is more adventurous, but Serrana will wait for Pequine at the door if her travels are a little scary. "Thank you so much for giving us such a great gift of Love. We are a young family and made a decision to get our first family pet. After looking at various web-sites, breeders, reading breed information we had narrowed our selection to a small breed dog. First my husband Chris did not think getting a Chihuahua would be such a good idea especially since all of our friends kept telling how loud, obnoxious, mean "these dogs" were. We decided to find out ourselves and took a trip to Patty's Lake Country Kennels. What we found out was her Chihuahuas were the most friendly, nice, playful and BEAUTIFUL dogs out there. We made our final decision right there and couldn't wait for our new puppy to come home. We were scared, nervous and anxious. Our puppy Sasha, the Chihuahua, finally came and with her all the best experience and fun a dog could give. She has been the smartest dog I have ever seen: very good and loving with our 18 months daughter, easy to potty train (we only had few accidents!!!), cuddles and give you SO MUCH love, never barks, never loud or mean to anyone. She has been the center of any party we have gone to, she has made friends with everyone around us, our family and friends want to constantly have her and hold her and anywhere we go people surround us. Sometimes we feel like celebrities with all the attention we are getting because of Sasha. All of our friends have changed their views on this breed and they all think she is the most adorable dog they have ever seen. Right away spending such a sum of money seemed quite shocking but the value of love and ease of care for your new Chihuahua is greater and worth more in the long run.
