Available Puppies


Wow!  This has been a big spring season here and we have some wonderful puppies available. Turtle Dove and Picasso delivered two puppies on March 15, 2008 which were followed by   longcoats from Foxy and Jake which arrived
April 12.  Lily and Picasso added another 3 beautiful puppies on April 26 which are available.  And, if all that isn't plenty Kassie and Dreamer both added another 5 each (!!) the end of May. 

The photo on the right is a great example of the level of cooperation we get when we attempt to photograph the puppies! Can you tell how angry Lily's baby Micah is?!!  She has flat out had enough and so this is the final shot of her at 8 weeks.  Hopefully she will be a bit more cooperative in her new home!  I swear I've never seen a more perfect pout!!

Turtle Dove and Picasso's litter arrived March 15


This baby boy is a beautiful fawn with black brindling and four little white paws.  He has a full black mask and dark ears as well.  He was a larger puppy at birth but has slimmed down as he grows.  He is currently charting around 5-5.5 lbs. fully grown.  He is happy and cute and all full of himself.  We have nicknamed him Dirty Harry.

This baby girl is on the larger side and will probably be near 6 lbs. fully grown.  She is a beautiful black with white markings and the sweetest most expressive face of all the puppies!

Meet Lucky!  This little lady is heading for the Twin Cities and will be living with Wendy and Jerry and their sons Tim and Ben.  Also in the mix is a 3 year old tabby named Lucy.  Tim and Ben are nearly grown and will soon be off the college.  Wendy is hoping that her little Lucky will fill the void left when the boys move out!



Lily and Picasso's litter arrived April 26

 




This beautiful little girl is a lovely black and
tan with pretty white markings.  She has glossy black fur and cute little white toes! She weighed 4.6 oz. at birth and that puts her at or near 5 lbs. fully grown.

This baby girl is heading for St. Cloud, MN where she will live with Jenny and Jesse.  She will be a new playmate for another chihuahua female named Tiegan, aged 2.5.  I predict hours of puppy shenanigans!







At first glimpse this handsome boy appears to be solid white but look carefully at his left ear.  At one week of age he developed the cutest little spot of blue fawn color!  No other spots as yet.  He is a sweet, cuddly little man.  He was 4.2 oz. at birth and should mature near 4.5 lbs. fully grown.  As you can see he has the prettiest blue eyes and brown nose.  What a doll baby!!

Picasso throws these beautiful silver blue pups but this is his first silver blue and tan baby.  Isn't she just wonderful?!  She weighed 4.6 oz. at birth but hasn't gained as much as her siblings.  I think she'll mature somewhere closer to 4 lbs.  This puppy is pictured above in a fit of pique!!

This lucky little girl will be living with Bill and Cathy in Oak Grove, MN.  They have selected a beautiful name for this beautiful baby... she will be Micah.  She will be living with two other rescue cats.

 

 



Kassi and Picasso's litter arrived May 24

All of these puppies were similar in size at birth and ranged between 4.5 and 5 oz.  Very healthy and a very good size.  They should all mature between 4.5 and 5.5 lbs.



Just look at this beautiful little boy.  His markings are very symetrical and he's going to be a very handsome fellow.  It is way to soon to see what his conformation will be like but he has the genetics behind him.  He could easily be show material.  No matter what he's going to be an adorable longcoat!!

We have had many black puppies here at LCK but this little man was at first glance completely black and we've never had one of those.  He does have a few white markings -- two white hind paws and a thin stripe from tummy to chin.  Other than that he is a wonderful rich, glossy black.

This little guy is moving to Lino Lakes and will be living with Kim and Joe.  He will be visited by their children Christopher and Angie and will be the second chihuahua in their home!  They have a little female chi named Sophie and this little baby's new name is Marty!





Well, would you looky here!  Midway through a very dark colored litter appeared this beautiful little bright spot!  She is a gold fawn with black sabling and beautiful white markings.  Just check out that mask on her adorable little face!  Her nickname is Sunny!

These are the last two girls from Kassi's litter and I'm holding them back for evaluation.  I wanted to hold the whole litter back but I decided to share!  These girls will be evaluated for the show ring but there is no reason that any of the puppies might not be appropriate for show or breed.  I haven't decided yet but one of these girls will be available down the road.

 



Dreamer and Picasso's litter arrived May 28





This stunning little tri colored male is pictured here at 2 weeks.  He has gorgeous markings and a blaze on his forehead which looks a bit like a heart.  He will be a smooth coat and should mature between 4.5 and 5.5 lbs.  He would make an excellent stud for your breeding program as well.

Think you're seeing double??  Me, too!!  These little girls are sisters in Dream's litter and nearly identical.  The puppy on the right has a tiny white smudge on the bridge of her nose and a bit more white on her tummy.  Otherwise we'd never tell these babies apart!!  Both sisters are developing long coats and already show nice structure at just two weeks.  Just look at those heads! I will be holding one back for show and the other will be available though I may not make up my mind for awhile.

This terrific little man is a gorgeous shade of dark rich brown with nearly golden highlights.  An unusual color but very, very handsome.  He will be in the 5 lb. range as an adult.

AKC male -- SOLD  This cute little guy was snapped up by Heather when she and Mike and Toast came for a visit recently.  Mike adopted Toast 6 months ago and now Heather is adding this little one to the mix.  He's still waiting for his new name but Heather has been referring to him as The Zen Master! 



Well, excuse the ruffled blaze but she's growing her longcoat!  Meet darling little Tidbit.  This baby girl was an extremely tiny 2.3 oz. at birth but learned to eat heartily within the first 36 hours and now muscles her much larger littermates aside (all four of them!) when it's time for her to eat!!  She is short in stature but is full of spunk!  At 3 weeks she is about 6.5 ozs. which puts her between 2 and 2.5 lbs. fully grown.  She has her daddy's magnificent head and her momma's pretty looks.  She is not suitable for breeding or for homes with small children or large dogs.

All puppies come with a one year written guarantee against congenital defects. All have dew claws removed, first two sets of puppy shots and appropriate wormings. Shipping is available for an additional $250.
